About Me

Holistic Health Care Clinics for the Whole Family

Hi, my name is Tammy. I love holistic healthcare. I do not like the concept of just addressing one thing (usually a physical aspect of the body) while ignoring the rest of the package (namely, the emotional and spiritual aspects of the body). To that end, I love yoga, but I also see the value of things like physical therapy after an accident. I am neither completely into western medicine nor completely into eastern healing. Rather, I like a combination of the two. I also like having a health care clinic that blends both of these elements. If you want the same things, please explore this blog. It has tips on finding the perfect holistic health care center for your family.

When Growing Pains Bring Tears: Two Natural Ways To Relieve The Aches In Your Children

Summer time is the time of year when your children are most active, but for many children this increase in physical activity can also bring with it a phenomenon known as 'growing pains'. The name 'growing pains' is a misnomer as there is no evidence the pain comes from your child's growth spurts; however, it is thought that muscles tired from physical activity may be one source of these aches. Leg sports injuries and how to avoid them

Sports carry the risk of injury, not just from nasty falls or being hit by a projectile ball, but from the repeated wear and tear they subject muscles to. Exercise may be good for you but overdoing it can cause a great deal of pain and even lasting damage. The most vulnerable body part by far is the lower limb, more commonly known outside of physiotherapy as the leg. Injuries will put you out of action for weeks if not months, putting a serious dent in your training regime. Read More
